My skin type is III/ IV. I had Fraxel 3 weeks ago and got Impetigo 3 days after Fraxel. Wast treated with Antibiotics . The infection is now completely cleared but my skin where the infection occurred is now pink/red .Will this discoloration/scarring be permanent? What type of treatment can be done to minimize this ? Thanks

The proper post-protocol post Fraxel is essential to your best treatment. I usually suggest Epiceram after Fraxel and there is a specific protocol to follow.
Depending on the settings used it can take up to two weeks for the skin's texture to return to normal. If you have any concerns I would return to your treating physician for examination.
