I had one round of the Fraxel for pigmentation and one round of regular Fraxel. She only went over my face one time with the regular Fraxel. Is that enough? I've been reading that 4-8 passes are usually done. Did I get ripped off?

A Fraxel Dual treatment simply means the provider is using two separate lasers - a 1927 wavelength (also known as Thulium) and a 1550 wavelength (know as a Restore). In the case of a "Restore" the physician is only using the 1550 laser. They do different things, with the 1927 doing more for sun...
Fraxel is not appropriate for tan skin. The laser will perceive it as pigment and you can get burned. Always consult a board certified dermatologist for Fraxel and lasers. Best, Dr. Green
