Can I Ruin my Rhinoplasty Results if I Smile, Yawn or Laugh After a Couple Days of Surgery?

Facial movement such as yawning or smiling should not be problematic unless carried to an extreme or performed suddenly which may cause sutures to give way.  Refrain from touching the nose.

Moving the face as you describe should not impact your result. In general, I would avoid touching the nose while you are healing. I would recommend speaking with your surgeon regarding any post-operative concerns, as he or she may have a specific protocol they would like you to follow.
