hello, thank you for your question. Over time gravity works to bringing the implant along with natural tissue lower. We always have our patients wear a supportive bra at all times. In your case it is early on, its possible that the tissue on one side is weaker especially if there were place sub muscular. I would wear a very supportive bra and wait until you are at least 8 months post op before going back in for a revision. So speak to your plastic surgeon about your options
Dear Loren 1991,bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery.Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies. If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I would suggest going back to your surgeon and discussing your option of tightening the pocket on the lower side. do wear underwire bras for now and avoid pushing the breast down and out as well.
Yes, especially this early in your healing phase, you may be experiencing this type of pain. However, it should get better. Please let your surgeon know.
Since your breasts sag, you need a lift, especially to achieve upper breast fullness. Otherwise, you will just have larger and still sagging breasts.
I suspect these horizontal indentations are from your bra trying to hold up such mammoth implants, much too large and heavy for your frame. These occur especially when the wrong supporting bra is worn early on after surgery.
