10 days after hair transplant removing scabs, loss of grafts?

It's been 12 days since i had my hair transplant in Istanbul. The doctor told me to remove the scabs after ten days with baby shampoo. So at the tenth day i tried to remove the scabs by pressing gently on the scalp, however the scabs would not get off so i applied a little bit more force. my concern is that i saw quite a lot scabs that looked like a graft with hair bulb. is it possible that i accidentally removed some grafts, or is it just an early shock loss?

Anything is possible.  It probably is not likely but if you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor since there is no way to tell on the Internet.

It is unlikely after 10 days post op that you are disrupting the grafts. The most likely scenario is that what you are seeing attached to the scab is the hair shaft that would be shed anyway. If you have further questions you may want to contact your doctor.

At 10 days post op the grafts are fully secure in your scalp. So any scabs and hairs you remove now is just shedding of the grafts which is perfectly normal.

The absolute worst thing you can do is pick out the crusts within the first 2-3 weeks after a hair transplant because the grafts can come out with the crusts when they are picked upon
