If there are no complications from the abortion, six weeks after the abortion may be a reasonable time period to schedule your BR. This depends upon the nature of the abortion, the postoperative course, the point during the pregnancy, the relative weight gain, your psychological well being. This must be evaluated on an individual basis by your OB/GYN and your board certified plastic surgeon.

it will mostly depend on the time when you got an abortion. But every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

I appreciate your concerns and I would discuss this issue with your gynecologist but 6 to 8 weeks after abortion should be long enough time to wait before having either of these procedures. I would stage the BBL and tummy tuck because of safety reasons and difficulty recovering when these two procedures are performed simultaneously.
