If there are no complications from the abortion, six weeks after the abortion may be a reasonable time period to schedule your BR. This depends upon the nature of the abortion, the postoperative course, the point during the pregnancy, the relative weight gain, your psychological well being. This must be evaluated on an individual basis by your OB/GYN and your board certified plastic surgeon.
Dear tashanasmith,it will mostly depend on the time when you got an abortion. But every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I appreciate your concerns and I would discuss this issue with your gynecologist but 6 to 8 weeks after abortion should be long enough time to wait before having either of these procedures. I would stage the BBL and tummy tuck because of safety reasons and difficulty recovering when these two procedures are performed simultaneously. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.
This question is best answered by your gynecologist. You want to be fully healed from other procedures before proceeding with your tummy tuck, BBL, and breast lift.
Hello, I've had quite a few patients (female and male) get into body building after their tummy tuck, and some have won awards. Bodybuilding should be fine as long as you are fully healed and cleared by your surgeon to resume vigorous activity.

You will need to ask the plastic surgeon who will be performing your procedures. In my practice, no specific vitamins are recommended. If your lab work indicates that your hemoglobin levels are low, you may need to take iron. I recommend that my patients stop taking Vitamin E the week prior to...
Hello, Thank you for sharing the information, it is a pleasure for me to answer your question. It is difficult to evaluate the options without seeing photos, Definitely the most appropriate is to start (tummy tuck, liposuction and BBL can also be included), you are a candidate perfect, for the...
Hello, I particularly require my patients to have a minimum of 11.5 hemoglobin, and up to 12.5 I require to use cell saver. The patient always loses blood during any surgical procedure and it is important to keep that in mind.
