Answer: Nerve pain and lump in donor area Nerve pain can last from weeks to months but is not common with FUE.I suspect that your situation will resolve over the next few weeks. The "lump" could be an ingrown hair or small collection of blood. This similarly should resolve over the next few weeks-a warm compress to that area several times a day may help.If this is not gone by 4-6 weeks I would follow up with your doctor.

Answer: The bump is likely a small collection of blood (hematoma) which should resolve on its own or an ingrown hair. It is difficult to make a diagnosis without an in person visit. Although I recommend seeing your surgeon for a definitive evaluation, the bump is likely a small collection of blood (hematoma) which should resolve on its own or an ingrown hair. The nerve pain caused by the FUE surgery can persist for an extended period of time (months), however the sensation should decrease as time passes on and the surgery continues to heal.

Answer: Lump in donor area Lumps in the donor area may reflect a small bleed that will eventually disappear over the next month or so. Don't worry about it as your doctor has already looked at it
