When can I start bending my head after FUE, specifically yoga involving a lot of downward facing dog?

I used to have a daily practice, 1-1.5 hours long, lots of downward facing dog and being with the head down from the waist. I've just hit 2 weeks post FUE and so far haven't done any exercise except for mild walking and some non-strenuous stair climbing. I've kept my head up so far and still sleep with my head elevated. I no longer feel pain in the donor area, discomfort is almost unnoticeable, and the trainsplanted hairs look well and crust-free. How long should I wait?

Thanks for the question. After 2-4 weeks your surgery area will healed and yes you can doing yoga and also do other activities. I wish you all the best.

You can resume yoga or any activity after your wound has healed.  In general most doctors recommend this after two weeks.  If you are concerned it would be best to contact your doctor.

I normally recommend my patients to wait at least 10 days before being able to exercise and bend their neck.

Once you have passed the 14 day post-op mark you are safe to resume to normal activities. If you still have some scabs / crust in the recipient area just be careful to not rub them off or pull them out.

After you have all of the crusts off a week, then you can do anything you want in terms of exercise or yoga
