I had a bump removal , and correction of the septum one month ago. I think the cast was too tight. My bridge is too thin and i have two marks because of the cast next to the eyes. What can i do??Will it get wider? Please help.
Answer: Hmm. You're right. That bridge is very thin. And it looks thin next to your tip, which is still wide, probably at least in part from swelling from the surgery.I don't know whether it will get wider, but for now there is nothing to do but wait. If you have another operation soon, to try to widen out the bridge, it could be a real disaster. It's necessary to wait for the scar tissue under the skin to soften and mature from one operation before attempting another operation.Later, if it doesn't widen out, it is possible to perform a revision to help.

Answer: Thin nasal dorsum From your pictures, it does appear that the nasal dorsum is narrow. It is not likely because of the cast being too tight, rather likely due to how the nasal bones have settled after the procedure. Make sure to visit your surgeon to discuss your concerns. It would be wise to wait at least 12 months prior to thinking about revision surgery to allow the body to undergo the healing process.Best wishes.

Answer: Nose bridge too thin The tip of your nose looks significantly more swollen than the bridge, and this could be related, in the early days after the procedure, to a splint that was a bit too tight. Your nose should look more balanced soon, and you will notice changes during the entire first year.If you are still unhappy with the result after that time, you should discuss with your surgeon the available options for improvement.

Answer: Go back an ask your surgeon Only your surgeon knows what he did at surgery. Go back and ask him what to expect.Remember to be patient; rhinoplasty surgery takes a long time to settle. Changes happen for a full year.

Answer: Thin Nose Bridge Concern hi Darfurox,Usually, after any surgery, the treated area gets smaller as it subsides, not the other way around, so the thinness of the bridge of your nose may not improve even as your recovery progress. However, it is also evident on your photos that your still have significant swelling on your nose tip, and as this subsides, you may notice your nose looking more balanced. If by 6-12 months and you are still not satisfied with the result of your surgery, you may consider a revision, but please discuss your concerns with your surgeon first.
