For the receding chin, my surgeon used a silicone chin implant. I don't like the result... My chin is too long and wide. What are the consequences of implant removal? I fear mental ptosis

The short answer is yes, it may. however it would be best to see the pictures. It is best to replace or reposition existing implant so the skin that has stretched out does not sag.

Good Afternoon! During implant removal, it's critical to reattach the mentalis muscle so that the chin doesn't droop over time. Compression post-procedure is also recommended to close the dead space where the implant was placed. It may be a more feasible option to consider a better-shaped implant.
