It seems as though you currently have an off-the-shelf implant. Unfortunately, standard chin implants are notorious for causing an array of problems.
Removing it entirely or replacing the implant with a custom-made one is an excellent way to prevent those issues from reoccurring. An implant made exclusively for your chin will prevent movement, which is likely why you sometimes feel swelling and apparent asymmetry. A custom implant will also look better aesthetically speaking. Besides the asymmetry, if there is something else you don't like about how this implant looks, a custom one will allow you to modify its look.
