Delivering consistent quality, Liposuction Resort, including the ability to make accurate assessment and Deliver predictabl results is far more difficult than most people believe. Being bored, certified in plastic surgery has no correlation to having mastered Liposuction or not. In reality, there is a substantial number of board-certified plastic surgeons, who truly are not good at Liposuction. The procedure is far more difficult to do well than most people believe this includes many people who perform the surgery. The number of plastic surgeons of Julie bastard this procedure is relatively few. Mastering liposuction, and body contouring requires decades of experience with a total commitment to mastering the skill. It requires complete honesty about what works and what doesn’t work. Lower extremity liposuction is technically difficult and results often do not come out nearly as good as patients had hoped regardless of who does the procedure. Age is a negative variable for quality, liposuction results. The best results are always on young people. Patients should take ownership of their selection process when choosing a provider for any cosmetic surgical procedure. How many before and after pictures did your provider show you of similar patients who had the same procedure? How many surgeons did you consult with before choosing your provider? Personally, I recommend patient start by having at least five in person consultations. An experience provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of commonly performed procedures like Liposuction. In reality, highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before, and after pictures of procedures that they perform on a regular basis. Well, some providers do more Liposuction than others almost all plastic surgeons do liposuction, at least in conjunction with other procedures from time to time. This does not mean that they are good at it.What certification in plastic surgery does not require competence in a plastic surgery. In the end, there are only two variables that matter. Those two variables are patient candidacy, and the skill of the surgeon. Both variables in the end are probably equally as important. Somebody who is not a good candidate does not have the potential of having a good outcome. A patient who is a good candidate, for Liposuction has the potential to get a quality outcome, but only if done by a sufficiently skilled provider. I fully understand that patients expect properly qualified physicians to know their trade. I do have been a patient many many times, and put my faith in the provider often without the ability to vet providers in anyway because of urgent and emergent need for treatment.Plastic surgery is unique because the skills cannot be learned from the textbook. It is different than other forms of medicine that are more cognitive. Plastic surgery is an art and art requires inherent, skill, total dedication, and practice. Liposuction results have in my opinion, the greatest variation in outcome based on who you select as your provider compared to all other plastic surgery procedures. In the end, your provider is responsible for your outcome, and you are responsible for choosing that surgeon. While your results are not all that impressive a question if the areas you had treated, had the potential for any significant improvement with removing subcutaneous fat. The exception would be your torso, including love, handles, etc. the results you show are probably actually fairly typical and probably would be considered average. Not everybody is requesting Liposuction is a good candidate. Assessing patients can be equally as difficult as the technical aspect of doing the procedure. Differentiating which patient will get what results, and the ability to demonstrate outcomes with the use of sufficient numbers of before, and after pictures is essentially the hallmark of competence.
