My surgeon is highly experienced (35+ years) and has glowing reviews. After examination, they decided on a benelli with a permanent suture. I am concerned it will not be enough to achieve a round shape with reduced areolas. I scheduled a follow-up, asking if a lollipop would be better. The surgeon assured me periareolar is right for me. They said a lollipop would be "overkill" as I only need my breast tissue pushed back. I am still concerned. The last picture is ideally what I want.
Answer: Mastopexy Options Ekaterina In your situation, I highly recommend considering a vertical mastopexy, commonly known as the lollipop technique. This approach allows us to create smaller areolas with minimal scarring. I prefer this method over the Benelli technique because it avoids puckering, nipple distortion, and undesirable scars that can sometimes occur with other surgeons. Particularly for cases with larger, puffy areolas and grade II or III nipple ptosis, the vertical mastopexy can yield excellent results with reduced scarring and improved nipple positioning.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Lift Measurements are needed to be certain, but just based on photos, I think you may need the vertical component for the best shape.

Answer: Breast lift Dear EkaterinaFuji, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Mastopexy It's understandable that you have concerns about the outcome of your breast surgery. Ultimately, the decision of which technique to use should be based on a careful evaluation of your individual case, including factors such as the amount of breast tissue, the degree of sagging, the size of the areolas, and your desired outcome. While it's important to trust your surgeon's expertise, it's also important to communicate your concerns and goals clearly. If you're not confident that the benelli technique with a permanent suture will achieve your desired outcome, it's important to discuss this with your surgeon and explore other options, such as the lollipop technique. It may also be helpful to ask your surgeon about their experience with both techniques and to view before-and-after photos of their previous patients who have undergone each technique. This can help you gain a better understanding of what you can expect from each procedure and make a more informed decision. As for the photo you provided, it's important to keep in mind that every patient's body is unique, and the results of your surgery may not be exactly the same as someone else's. However, by working closely with your surgeon and expressing your concerns and goals, you can increase your chances of achieving the best possible outcome for you. I hope this helps, best of luck !
