Is it normal I have a tight band in my arm several months after miraDry?

I got MiraDry about 3-4 months ago. I had a tight band in my arm right after the procedure. That went away after a few weeks. Now the tight band has returned worse than before. I can feel it running all the way down to my hand and it causes pain when I extend my arm too far. Is this normal? Will this go away? Is there anything I can do to help this go away?

Thanks for your question.Many patients have a short period of time after the treatment where odor does increase before it decreases. This is usually in the first week after the treatment. In my experience, the best odor reduction is achieved with 2 sessions 12 weeks apart.Good luck. Dr. ALDO

I suggest seeing your physician for a formal evaluation. It's difficult to answer this without an in-person evaluation. Botox can also be used to treat excessive sweating. Best, Dr. Emer
