When will MiraDry be available to treat other areas than the underarms?

I have hyperhidrosis since a traumatic delivery, embarrassingly enough in the area between my buttocks. Botox works but has to be repeated and is only fully effective for perhaps 6-8 weeks. Can the area between the buttocks be treated with MiraDry?

Thanks for your question.Many patients have a short period of time after the treatment where odor does increase before it decreases. This is usually in the first week after the treatment. In my experience, the best odor reduction is achieved with 2 sessions 12 weeks apart.Good luck. Dr. ALDO

I suggest seeing your physician for a formal evaluation. It's difficult to answer this without an in-person evaluation. Botox can also be used to treat excessive sweating. Best, Dr. Emer

It’s not a requirement to have 2 sessions of MiraDry. The average improvement after single treatment of miraDry is around 70%. Majority of our patients are satisfied with single session.
