A few years ago I rapidly gained around 100 lbs. I was overweight for maybe two years. I’ve since lost the weight, and firmed up my muscles; however some skin laxity (and rippling) remains. My main factors for not wanting surgery are price and scarring. I’m a fairly hairy guy, and a hip to hip scar (and possibly one around my navel) would be more noticeable w/ any missing hair. I’ve heard RF & vacuum could resolve the issue (one site having before & after pics). Is this a viable option?
Answer: Best Non-Surgical Alternative To Abdominoplasty Thank you for your question and pictures. Congratulations on your weight loss. Unfortunately, nothing except surgery will "resolve" your issue. You may see some improvement using a combination of fat reduction (CoolSculpting), abdominal muscle toning (EMSculpt) and skin tightening (ThermiTight/BodyTite). However, the costs of these treatments will add up and can come close to costs of surgery. Make sure you see an experienced physician for an in-person consultation and examination. Best wishes.

We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross.
