What is happening in this area post stitch abscess breast reduction?

Question

I had a stitch abscess here at 2 months post op. I am now almost 4 months post op and I am not liking the way it looks. It looks bruised and indented. I have an appointment with my surgeon in 2 weeks but would like to have other opinions.

Things will improve a lot over the coming months and this will not be the final result. This is not unusual  and it will take 6-12 months for you to be able to assess the final result. Everything now looks well healed and you should ask you PS about scar management and massage.
