So about a months ago I got a breast reduction, and I had minimal pain along the way. Two and a half weeks in, I start developing dryness and redness. It doesn’t hurt and isn’t hot. I’ve been putting mosturizer on it but I don’t know if it’s the best thing to do so I’ve come here! Please help me!!!

You seem to have some irritation, do not apply any ointments of any kind until you see your PS who can prescribe something for you. Follow up asap best of luck.

Thank you for your question and photo. It looks like you have developed some areas of delayed healing and possibly some fat necrosis. This is from a lack of blood supply to the tissues affected, usually due to tension. I would follow up with your surgeon so he can examine you in person and start you on a wound care regimen so you may heal that area. Best of luck.

You have some wound issues esp at the joins of the scars. This will heal but you will need some dressings. I would send your pics to your PS who can advise you. Antibiotic cream would be better than moisturiser but you need advice from your PS.
