With the description you provided, a chin implant performed as an office procedure (we perform it in the office under local anesthesia with oral sedation) may be your best choice to acheive the look you want while minimizing the out of pocket cost.

You do appear to be a good candidate for chin augmentation, which would help to add more balance to your face.  Surgery would provide a permanent result but some augmentation could also be achieved with injectable fillers.  The fillers would be less expensive than surgery on the short term, but the results would not be permanent.  

Judging from your profile pictures and the
position of your chin, you would be considered a good candidate for a chin augmentation.
Classically, when evaluating the ideal chin projection in a man, the soft
tissue of your chin should approximate an imaginary vertical line intersecting
the outer border of your lower lip. If the discrepancy between the ‘ideal’
position and your current position exceeds a centimeter, you are reaching the
limits of an implant and jaw surgery may be a better option.



Other considerations include your dental
occlusion. A board certified facial plastic surgeon or oral surgeon can
evaluate occlusion. If your chin position and occlusion need correction, orthognathic
(jaw) surgery would be a prudent option.



Certainly, a cost effective solution would
be a filler, however this is temporary and not a great long term strategy.
