How long does it takes stitches to dissolve after a small chin implant?

Some surgeons may use dissolvable sutures and others may use permanent sutures that need to be removed after placing a chin implant.  You should contact your surgeon to find out what type of sutures were used in your procedure.  

Well, I suggest you contact your doctor about your stitches.  If they are nylon stitches (permanent), they need to be removed.  I typically use nylon and remove them in a week or so.  If the stitches are dissolvable, there is no issue...but you must be sure.  Contact your doctor for advice.
