Swollen jaw lymph knots after chin implant. Any suggestions? (photos)

I had a chin implant (medium) size on Saturday.Yesterday I had my dressings removed and I was a by shocked by the swelling of my jaw line. The actual chin is not swollen at all and I did not have any bruises. Today its massively swollen Jaw line with a big bulb on each side of the chin implant.This morning it had the size of a pea and now it's the size of a Grape.The first days were really good and only needed painkillers the very first day but now the swelling and bruising are getting worse.

Thank you for your pictures. It sound like you have typical swelling a couple of days after your procedure. For peace of mind have your plastic surgeon evaluate your swelling.

It is not unusual for swelling and bruising to get worse the first few days after placement of a chin implant.  After a week or so, these issues should begin to improve however.  It is also not unusual to have swelling and bruising move to nearby areas of the face where there was no surgery performed.  If you have any concerns with your recovery, it would be best to contact your surgeon to be evaluated.
