Can I go snorkeling 3 weeks after rhinoplasty if I don't wear goggles that touch the nose? is it dangerous to dive below a certain depth due to an increase in pressure on the head?

Answer: Rhinoplasty- Can I go snorkeling 3 weeks after rhinoplasty You can do it but it is a bad idea. Ask your surgeon but the compression of a dive mask may be very painfull and potentially damage the shape of the nose at this stage. Not every idea is a good idea.

Answer: Snorkeling Thank you for your post! Every surgeon's postoperative recommendations can differ. My best recommendation for your is to avoid snorkeling this close to postop. Even if you wear goggles that don't touch your nose, most of them still have some affect on the nasal bridge. Another consideration is snorkeling and swimming with other people and an accident from an elbow or leg hitting your nose. Also, you went through so much now and invested in this procedure, I highly recommend not snorkeling. Hope this helps! Dr. Miguel
