I have surgey schedule for Dec 19. Want to get best result possible. Is it safe to get some session of lazer lipo. before.

The need to have liposuction before tummy tuck surgery would require an examination and discussion of your exact goals for surgery.  Based on your description, it does not seem as though your surgeon recommended any liposuction, so first, I would stick to their advice.  If you are considering liposuction before tummy tuck, the time between liposuction and tummy tuck is too short.  You want at least a 6 month recovery between surgeries.

A separate laser liposuction session shortly before a fleur-de-lis tummy tuck is usually not advisable unless it is part of the same surgical plan. FDL surgery depends on reliable skin blood supply and careful wound healing; recent liposuction, heat energy, bruising, swelling, or inflammation can make the tissue harder to judge and may increase healing risks.

If contouring is needed, the timing and areas should be decided by the surgeon performing the tummy tuck. Some liposuction can be safely combined with abdominoplasty in selected areas, while other areas may be better staged until after healing. When surgery is close, anything that affects the abdominal tissue or planned incision design should be cleared as part of the operative plan first.

It’s hard to know which to do first without photos. I see no reason to liposuction the abdomen if you’re going to have a tummy tuck. Also I have never found it necessary to do a fleur de lys tummy tuck and have answered a lot of questions on realself from people who regretted it. Get another opinion and rethink the fdl. I doubt you really need it

It is not a good idea to have liposuction done a month before your tummy tuck, especially if you are considering liposuction of the abdomen.  Some contouring can be done at the same time of your tummy tuck, usually the hip and flank area.  I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon to determine what is best for you.

Hi Original541387, excellent question! It's hard to answer that question without more detail. For example, is it your surgeon who's doing the liposuction? How far in advance are you doing the liposuction before the FDL tummy tuck? I would advise extreme caution with the liposuction, especially if it's not performed by your surgeon. FDL abdominoplasties involve larger scars and raising skin flaps. Liposuction beforehand can compromise the blood supply to the abdominal skin, and can result in poor wound healing and skin loss. Talk to your surgeon first. Hope that helps.

Straight up bad idea.

The heat of the laser with liposuction crests a scar layer under the skin that is immobile, lacking any stretch. This effect limits the effectiveness of the tummy tuck and final result.

Patient should avoid having liposuction before having a tummy tuck. if someone is considering a tummy tuck and has already had liposuction and they need to wait a minimum of six months.
Liposuction will create a diffuse net work of scar tissue through the subcutaneous fat layer and subdermal region. scar tissue has much less pliability than urgent issue and there’s lots of pliability limits how much skin can be removed successfully with a tummy tuck.
Tell me tuck its self and that you’re a fat layer just like a rubber band becomes thin when pulled taught. 
Most successful weight-loss patients don’t need liposuction but instead need more skin surgery.

Hi Original541387. I highly recommend against doing any procedures shortly before tummy tuck especially Laser liposuction. If I do liposuction on a patient and they return asking for a tummy tuck, I tell them to wait at least 6 months to allow for maximal healing and recovery of tissue damage.Instead you can do liposuction at the same time as tummy tuck.
