I would like to know how long after the procedure should I wait to start practicing speed rollerskating again. What worries me more is when you fall, which can be sometimes very violent and unexpected (cracks, rocks in the trail, etc). TIA

Answer: Tummy tuck recovery Thanks for your inquiry, in general I would say at around three months you could take a fall and not injure result. Please get your surgeon's permission and I would probably still recommend wearing an abdominal binder/support for awhile when skating.

Answer: Recovery Typically patients are asked to wait six weeks to return to regular exercise, however your situation sounds much more vigorous than typical. I recommend speaking to your surgeon for a time frame on this based on how you are progressing through recovery. It's best to begin slowly when returning to exercise and gradually build up your activity level.
