Answer: Hoping to Hurry Incision Scars Anytime there's an incision in the skin, there is healing that is going on beneath the surface that takes time. Likely the redness will resolve on it's on.

If you did get the proper lift then we would recommend laser resurfacing to improve the scars. We use the Sciton Profractional for revising lip lift scars and it works by removing tiny bits of the hard scar tissue that makes the scar look uneven. The body then places new collagen, smoothing and recontouring the area.

Answer: Lip lift scar with poor result. It is too early to say. At 4-6 months-see a very experienced lip lift surgeon for a revision after the redness is gone. If the same you will need to have this scar excised and closed without tension.
