Dear hellonidia, hematoma after lip augmentation is not common but it can occur. In most cases it doesn't create any problem. Most plastic surgeons will recommend to use cold compression in order to promote healing. I suggest you to discuss your concerns with your injector. While not common, they can happen. I recommend injections with cannulas to limit complications. Hematomas will resolve in 1-2 weeks. Icing, arnica and cold compresses can give improvement. Best, Dr. Emer
