Is shaving the tip of the chin safe?

Im a woman with 26 years old and i have a long chin, during my research on surgical methods I saw that some doctors shave the tip of the chin to reduce a long chin, however other doctors have said that this option is not safe unless the muscles are tied up after shaving, because this option can bring more sagging. So shaving the tip of the chin is safe ? This method bring more risck of sagging ?
