You can drive yourself after Botox injections. Botox injections have minimal discomfort and do not require any anesthesia, therefore patients are able to drive themselves immediately after being injected. I would advise speaking with your physician injector in regards to any questions or concerns you might have. All the best,
Hello and thank you for your question. Botox is a gentle and mild treatment and does not require anybody to drive you home or back to work. Immediately following your appointment, you are free to drive yourself. I ask my patients to not lie down, bend over for several hours or exercise for the remainder of the day. Other than that, there are no restrictions. Best wishes.
Hello and thank you for your question. Botox is a very safe treatment that does not involve any anesthesia. You can drive yourself home after your treatment no matter where you have the injections. Make sure you are working with a board-certified plastic surgeon and experienced injector to ensure the best possible results.
Botox and Dysport usually take two or three days to work so you should be fine driving yourself from the doctor's office.
You are able to drive home after your Botox treatment even if the area around your eyes was treated. Botox is a very safe, effective treatment with little, if any, downtime. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question, it is completely safe to drive after Botox treatment, unless there is some major complication during the procedure. I hope this was helpful. Best Dr. Emer.
Cheriedjb,Botox has little immediate effect. There may be very mild swelling at the injection for a few minutes but nothing that should cause visual obstruction. The actual effect of Botox can take up to 7-10days. Even at that point, it’s very unusual someone would have any visual obstruction such that they couldn’t continue daily activities. Hope this helps.Best,Dr. Mooty
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. It is definitely okay to drive yourself home after Botox treatments as it will not play a role with driving or your vision. Hope this helps.
You are perfectly safe to drive yourself. Botox will not kick in for 5-7 days; maximum results by 2 weeks. Best of luck to you.
Botox does not have immediate onset- it can take between 7 and 10 days -and is not performed under sedation. for these reasons there is no contraindication to driving after Botox. Best of luck to you.
There is no theoretical reason that Botox would cause cramping but everyone reacts differently. The goods news is that it is not a serious side effect and will dissipate once the botox wears off in 3 months. Nothing you can really do to speed up the duration of effects. Either try a different...
Botox is not associated with dizziness. There is likely something else going on. I would recommend seeing your regular doctor to begin a workup to find the source of your problems.Best of luck!Dallas R. Buchanan, MD, FACSOwner & Board-Certified Plastic SurgeonVIVIFY plastic surgery
It is fine to have a Botox touch up four weeks after your initial injection. The treatment is considered in full effect after two weeks which is why that time frame is often recommended for any touch ups. Your treatment results will last about three to four months typically.
