I get so insecure cause from a side profile my nose looks very droopy from the tip when I smile and it also makes my nostrils flare, it looks like a parrot and I hate it. Please can you help me find a good treatment, preferably something effective but non surgical!
Answer: Nose drooping with smiling The nose can be altered surgically or non-surgically. Filler and Botox injections may be able to help temporarily alleviate many of the concerns you express. Surgical rhinoplasty can provide permanent structural changes to the nose. I would recommend an in-person exam to see the nose in 3D and examine dynamic motion with smiling. See an expert who performs many surgical rhinoplasties, non-surgical nose jobs, and cosmetic facial injections to review all of these options in detail. All the best,

Answer: Non Surgical Nose Job for Droopy Tip Hi and thanks for your question. From your pictures, it looks like you are a good candidate for the Non Surgical Nose Job procedure. Your tip droop looks like it is mild, so it could be handled with fillers. Placing filler into the tip of your nose will stabilize it and keep it from drooping down as much when you smile. Adding a bit of Botox under your nose will help with that too. Botox will help to keep your nostrils from flaring, but that will only last for 3 months. You don't need many units to get the effect, though, so it would not be very expensive to just come in every 3 months and get that done. There are several options of fillers. For a temporary effect of about 1.5 years I like to use Voluma. The result is smooth and natural looking and the filler is reversible with an enzyme injection if you don't like the result (almost never happens). There is a longer lasting filler called Bellafill that I use with patients who have had the temporary procedure. Bellafill lasts for many years and in some patients is actually permanent. Whether temporary or permanent, Non Surgical Rhinoplasty takes 5 to 15 minutes to perform, involves minimal pain, minimal risk, no downtime or swelling and you can see the results immediately after the procedure. Hope that helps!

Answer: Nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments may not be helpful for treating a droopy nasal tip and wide nostrils. In general, a bulbous, droopy nasal tip and a profile bump may be addressed with rhinoplasty surgery to achieve a smaller, less distracting nasal appearance. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Answer: Non Surgical Nosejob Candidate-- with Fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm), Botox/Xeomin/Dysport I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) along with Botox can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and lift the tip. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
