What can be used to make nose more bulbous? (Photos)

Question

I got a primary and honestly feel unhappy with it. I want to make it more bulbous as it's very pointy i also have lines down the sides of my nose that look weird. What can be used to fix this and make it more round and bulbous? Will the graft feel stiff?

Hello !

It is possible to make it rounder and more bulbous. It will require a revision rhinoplasty with graft.

It can feel stiff in some cases. It is one trade off with rhinoplasty which I tell my patients before surgery that they would have a better looking nose but their nose may be stiffer than what they are used to. Most of my patients feel that it is an acceptable compromise and will much prefer a good looking stable nose which is stiff than an unstable poor looking nose that is soft.

It is best to consult with an expert in revision rhinoplasty for the best results.

Thank you for your question.From the photos you provided your nose looks small compared to your face (I would need more photos of course to make a better evaluation).It is possible to reshape the tip but you may need cartilage reconstruction to achieve the result you are looking for.Best regards!

Based on your photos, you appear to have a pleasing nasal appearance, however there may be a slight asymmetry of your tip where there is less volume on the right compared to the left. Depending on your examination, Microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for adding permanent volume to your nasal tip for a more symmetrical appearance. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
