Rhinoplasty should be able to address the issues that you would like to change. Make sure you see a rhinoplasty expert who pays special attention to structural support. You want to make sure the structural support of your nose is maintained during surgery as your nasal tip is altered.

It is not your job to tell the plastic surgeon how to fix your nose.  You should just tell them the things you do not like and then they will take it from there.  For men and women of each race there are ideal norms.  If your nose varies from these the doctor may suggest or point out other areas for improvement but it is best done in person.  Go to several consults an make sure you and the surgeon are I the same page

After identifying your primary goal(s) of surgery, your surgeon should perform a clinical analysis to identify other areas that can be improved to give you the best possible result from rhinoplasty surgery. Hi Sandyklein, There are procedures that can alleviate the droopy tip and flaring nostrils that are alluded here. You see those things that you know bother you but the consultation should help you to understand other things that are potential issues or not. A plastic or facial plastic surgeon, (facial plastic surgeons come from an ENT background and have additional training in facial plastic surgery while plastic surgeons are trained in all areas of plastic surgery), who is experienced in nose surgery should go over the techniques and expectations and limitations of rhinoplasty surgery. We have a Vectra 3D imager, (I can't give you any more insights from your picture, sorry), where we can both look at your face and nose and show what changes can do for it. It has been a great way to discuss these concerns and gives a good representative image of potential outcomes. 

Hi Sandy,The most important aspect of rhinoplasty for a patient is choosing their rhinoplasty surgeon.  You should consult with a few surgeons.  Your tip droops when you smile so you want support of your nasal tip and some rotation.  Your surgeon will address removing some of your lower septum and freeing the tension in your lip.  Good luck and be well.Dr. P

It is very difficult to answer your question without examining you or seeing more pictures showing your areas of concern.  Typically lack of adequate tip support is responsible for the features that you mention

It depends what bothers you. Those are the areas that you want your surgeon to correct to give you what you think is a better looking nose. He will know how to do this depending on what bothers you if he is an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon.

I think that the most important thing to do is go to a plastic surgeon for consultation and discuss yoru concerns in person. Good luck.
