I'm 25 years old and in 3rd week of post ops. Is it safe to remove my implants now?If not how soon can i do it? I had big implants and I can't handle them. My skin is stretching, will they have elasticity? Is it true the sooner I remove the better the skin form back? How about my breast pocket, will they easily recover? My nipples skin also stretch to adjust to the big implants. It makes the nipple appearance bigger each day. Is there anyway they will get smaller after implants removed?
Answer: How Soon Can I Remove my Implants After Surgery?
Thank you for the question. Breast implants can be removed at any time from the surgical or anesthesia standpoints.
You should be aware however that it is not uncommon for patients to have severe emotional swings (both depression and elation) after undergoing plastic surgical procedures. The exact causes of the emotional reactions are not known but do tend to resolve within one to two months of the procedure.
Depending on the quality of skin elasticity present and the size of the breast implants used, you will likely find that the breast skin and nipple/areola complexes will “bounce back” to a great degree after the breast implants are removed.
I would suggest very careful/consideration during your decision-making process ( as unemotional as possible).
Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Implant Removal
Sorry to hear you feel your implants are too big for you. At three weeks out, there is still some added volume from swelling, but your plastic surgeon is in the best position to know.
Breast implants can be removed at any time, and the sooner, the more likely that the skin will recoil. Every plastic surgeon who does a significant number of breast augmentation has had a patient who felt as you do, but if there was a good honest dialogue regarding expectations and size, the size improves with healing.
While many patients feel their new implants are a little big, the most common reason to replace breast implants is to go larger, so this changes with time. The most important thing is to discuss the results with your surgeon and come up with a plan to get to a happier place.

Answer: How Soon Can I Remove my Implants After Surgery?
There is no minimum time that you have to wait to have implants removed if you are unhappy with them. However, 3 weeks out, you are still healing and they will continue to change. You didn't say how big the implants are - you may just want to decrease the size instead of removing them completely. You need to discuss your concerns with your doctor.

Answer: Breast Implant removal.
Thanks for your question. You can remove the implants at any point. The question is do you do anything else or just take the implants out of the pocket. If you simply want to remove the implants they can be taken out now. It would be more conservative to wait until you are at the 3 month mark but you will have to speak with your surgeon about timing. If you want to replace the implants with smaller implants then I would also recommend waiting until 3 months post-op prior to performing more surgery.

Answer: How Soon Can I Remove my Implants After Surgery?
There is no real time limit as far as safety. If your surgeon suggests a delay the goal is probably to have you avoid making an impulsive decision. We have all had the occasional patient, happy with long term outcome who, early in the post op period wanted the implants out.
If you and your surgeon are convinced that this is the right option for you, then this is the right thing to do.
All the best.
