Is it possible to remove hard lump on forehead caused by bumping head, how much does it cost and the risks?

Forehead bumps can be removed via variety of means.  In my opinion, removal through an endoscopic approach with a scar hidden in the scalp (single incision) is the best approach for concealing the scar and the shortest recovery period for patients.  I have not found that shaving the osteoma has caused recurrence.  Burring the surrounding skull allows for the abnormal osteoma cells to be removed.  

Bumping your forehead will often result in soft tissue injury and scar.  It can be quite hard and mimic a bony deformity.  An exam would be necessary to make any firm recommendations.  Having said that, if it is indeed a bony deformity, you could choose to have the bone shaved down in this area.  I have had a lot of success removing these endoscopically and find that they rarely recur.  Other forehead lesions like osteomas and lipomas can also be similarly removed.

Bumps on the forehead can usually be removed. Most often they are either a lipoma (fatty tissue) or osteoma (bone growth). It is possible that you had a fracture that healed with a callus that formed a bump but a less frequent cause. Lipoma would require an incision right over the bump to remove it. The incision usually heals very nicely. An osteoma or bony growth can sometimes be removed with an incsion hidden in the hairline.
