I had Rhinoplasty with rib cartilage. Hard bumps have formed on the inside of my nose. Will this resolve on its own? (photo)

Hello,I would get a second opinion. The largest bump in your nose doesn't look like scar tissue.  Kenalog injections are not innocuous and can potentially cause problems with the skin, lining or shape of the nose.Best of luck!

Hard bumps in nose after rib graft rhinoplasty? You need a proper examination to determine what you should do next. For the present I would avoid having Kenalog injections. See a very experienced revision rhinoplasty surgeon for another opinion.

It is very difficult to tell you what is sticking through the columella based on photograph. You really need to have an examination. Please contact us if you can't get a hold of your surgeon.

Thank you for the photos and the question but it is hard to say what they are without an examination.  If they are scar then aristocort might help but if they are cartilage then it will not.  So rely on your surgeon or get a second opinion from another expert in your area.Dr. Corbin
