Hi, In the photos, you can see that my right eye (on your left) appears much bigger and wider than my right eye. Additionally, they appear to sit on different planes and one slants more than the other. What would be the cause of this and what are possible solutions? Is this an eyelid/ptosis issue or does it more have to do with one eye sitting more forward and bulging more? I already plan to get a lower bleph and would like to address this issue as well.

Answer: Asymmetrical eyelids Thank you for sharing your questions and posting your photos. You have both uneven opening heights of the lids and an asymmetric amount of skin on your eyelids as well. There can be many reasons for this including normal asymmetry as well as medical conditions causing it. Make sure to have an in- person consultation with an experienced oculoplastic surgeon for comprehensive evaluation and guidance. Good luck,

Answer: Non-Surgical Chemical Brow Lift for Eyelid Rejuvenation -- add Ultherapy, Thread Lifting, RF Skin Tightening, Laser Treatments As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.
