I’ve had a history of 2 Chalazions on the past year. The first was treated by an ocuplastic surgeon (incision and drainage on underside of left lid). I developed a notch as a result of scarring. The second Chalazion was treated conservatively using heat, Dexamethasone injections and finally 5fu. It did not respond. Finally the doctor suggested I have a full thickness biopsy to rule out SCC. It has been 4 months and my eyelid really hurts. I’ve moved away from that state.
