I don’t have much personal experience with thread lift, but I can tell you that I’ve never met a patient who was satisfied long-term with the procedure. You may or may not be a candidate for chin and neck Liposuction guide. My personal experience with Renuvion has not been impressive.I would keep expectations low for any real skin tightening using a Renuvion. Delivering consistent quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons approach mastery of Liposuction is in reality quite small. During each in person consultation, I recommend you insist on providers, opening up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar facial characteristics to your own. Bring a set of facial pictures taken the same way plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to use as reference during the consultation. Make sure before, and after pictures are accurate representations of what you look like. They should be of patients who have similar facial structure, similar age, similar skin, laxity, and amount of subcutaneous fat. Highly experienced plastic surgeons should have access to hundreds or preferably thousands of before and after pictures to choose from. Plastic surgeons who have an insufficient collection of before, and after pictures, most likely have insufficient experience, and this should always be somewhat of a red flag. Ultimately, it’s the patient’s choice of who they choose for their consultation and ultimately surgical intervention. I generally always recommend having multiple consultations before selecting a provider or having permanent irreversible surgical intervention. The biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. Having only one consultation, more or less eliminates the ability to choose a better provider. Being certified, plastic surgery and positive reviews does not mean that somebody has mastered most plastic surgical procedures. Lack of plastic surgery board certification is probably the biggest red flag of them all. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
