Answer: Necessary Information Hello; Renuvion is not a liposuction method. It is a skin tightening method. It is used; after fat is removed with Liposuction or Vaserlipo procedures. It shortens for the collagen fibers in the skin and stimulates for collagen production again. It tightens your skin and reduces for the appearance of cellulite.

Answer: Getting Liposuction Your post does not indicate what area you’re having treated. Is it your arm, your armpit or your torso? My first-hand experience with Renuvion has been fairly dismal, and neither I, nor my patience noticed any significant skin tightening with this device. I recommend you insist on seeing an impressive collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own before committing to any permanent irreversible surgical intervention. Poorly done Liposuction can leave people permanently disfigured. Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of Liposuction is in reality quite small. I cannot emphasize enough, the importance of provider selection. To find the right plastic surgeon I recommend patient start the process by having multiple in person consultations. Bring pictures of your body to use as reference during each consultation. Don’t rely on memory or looking in the mirror for reference of what your body looks like. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their entire portfolio of before, and after pictures of previous patient who had similar body characteristics to your own. Highly experienced plastic surgeons should have access to hundreds or preferably thousands of before and after pictures to choose from.Providers who lack quality collection of before, and after pictures should be avoided. The biggest mistake I see patients make is having only one consultation and then scheduling surgery. Only one consultation, more or less eliminates the ability to choose a better provider. My response may be a bit blunt and lacking enthusiasm. My goal is to serve as a patient advocate at all times. I’ve seen far too many people be left disfigured and emotionally devastated from poorly done plastic surgery. I cannot emphasize enough, the importance of carefully choosing providers before committing to surgical intervention. This is especially true for Liposuction. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
