I recommend following up with your Doctor for a formal evaluation and after care recommendations. It can take up to 6 months to have your final results with a neck lift. Thank you for your question and picture.  It is very likely you will need revision on the neck - you will need to wait at least 6 months for the scar tissue to soften. The tissues thicken and scarring is present, time is needed to see the final result.  It is important to continue massaging and having regular follow up appointments with your surgeon to review.  All The Best

You will likely need a revision to improve the apprearance of your neck. I can only assume its not getting much better over the last month. As you have your upcoming wedding (congratulations!), you may want to consider a neck lift revision sooner rather than later, instead of waiting a full 6m, maybe wait 5m then go ahead and have it done. Continue with massages to the area that will also help to break up some of the scar tissue. And you should be all set for your upcoming nuptials. 

Unfortunaterly this is very unpleasant complication of neck surgery after bleeding and seroma formation in the neck. Fat tissue and muscle heal with thick scar that takes months to soften and improve.  Ultrasound massage (you may purchase US massage kit for $40-50 on internet) may soften scars and lumps and help to speed up this process. No surgery is advised at this stage. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Most likely a revision will be required but nothing should be done for at least 6 months after your initial procedure.  Once a hematoma forms, the degree of tissue thickening and scarring varies and time is needed to see what the final results will be.  Hope this helps.

I’m sorry that you are going through this. Once a hematoma occurs, the healing course is unpredictable but time does improve things. Sometimes adjunctive treatments such as ultrasound can aid in the healing. It’s best to discuss this with your surgeon.

Elevated blood pressure following face or neck lift procedures can often times result in hematoma or collection of blood.  You have a lot of time prior to your wedding (congratulations!) so you should see more resolution of your neck issues by that time.  If you are not satisfied in the next two months and it still looks as it does, you may ask for a revision that will heal just fine by the time of your wedding.  I would not inject more steroids.  I think that steroids are going to deplete the fat that is in your neck and you will have worse changes to the skin in that area.

Thank you for your inquiry.   Sorry to hear about your situation.   Hematomas are rare but a risk after any surgery.    Your neck should continue to improve but is most likely going to need a revision.   Continue to follow the advice of your surgeon and if not satisfied with the results in the next 1-2 months, a revision can be done to improve your result.
