I’ve always had a strange looking neck. When I was young my parents would so my doctors to check my thyroid levels and they would always come out normal. I’d get teased about it as a child and I’m 20 now and I still do by my family. I am tired of wearing makeup and jewelry over it. I want to know which procedure I can get done to remove my neck fat and ugly appearance.

Answer: Goitre like neck Thanks for writing,I think you need to see a Board Certified Endocrinologist. You need a great physical examination of your neck and possibly some ultra-sound or other studies. The area in your photos is anatomically associate with not only the thyroid but also parathyroids, lymph nodes, and others anatomical structures. The majority of the time neck fat is higher up in the neck and or under the chin.I believe you have to prove there is no gland or anatomy problem. If everything is normal then I would find a Board Certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and then give you options to help you improve you neck. I hope this helps. Good luck Stephen M. Answer: What can I do to fix my goiter-like neck? Yes, you have a goiter. there is no cosmetic surgery for that but you definitely need to consult with an endocrinologist.
