ChelleA.    I don't think your plastic surgeon placed your belly button too high, because it is fixed.  I honestly think you need to look at the positives.  Your abdominal contour is excellent and while your scar is somewhat widened, it is flat and low enough to be hidden by your bikini or pant...

At 9 days, you are very early in your healing process. Swelling after a TT is the norm but wearing a compression garment will help control the swelling. Best to see your operating surgeon to discuss the best compression garment for you. Good luck!

I had my TT 6 days ago and keep getting very hot flushes, which leaves me with a headache. Is this normal?

Hot flashes are not a typical complication after Tummy Tuck surgery and may not be related. I suggest speaking with your surgeon about this issue as he may be able to determine the cause for your hot flashes

Interesting question. It is definitely possible for hair to fall out after any kind of stress including surgery. The cause of this type of alopecia is unknown. In fact the causes for most alopecia is unknown but stress probably has a significant role. I have had only one case in over twenty five...

Dear Patient:  bieng that you are 11 months out, the best approach would be to surgically explore the wound under adequate anaesthesia to determine the cause of this persistent problem.  Hope this helps!
