Hi! I'm 32 and recently visited an office hoping to get kybella done along with some fillers. The aesthetician did not want to inject my double chin with kybella because she said my skin could become saggy under my chin and look worse than before. I've seen a few people older than myself have great success with kybella. Does my skin look too laxed for the kybella treatment?
Answer: Kybella Dear Tate222, Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella. Answer: Morpheus 8 Hi @Tate222! I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Does the skin under my chin look too lax for Kybella treatment? This is a great question. If you do a Kybella treatment you will most certainly need to do a skin tightening treatment as well. Whenever reducing unwanted fat tissue the skin will hang differently. I would recommend 3 Morpheus treatments after the kybella and you should get great results. Good luck!!

Answer: Skin Tightening for the Neck -- Kybella, Ultherapy, Thermage, PDO NovaThreads vs VASER Hi-Def, ThermiRF, Renuvion, BodyTite A combination approach would give the most improvement. Nonsurgical options such as Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, and Ultherapy do well in combination for skin tightening, but the results are mild compared to surgical options. I would recommend a VASER Hi-Definition Liposuction with ThermiRF, Renuvion (J Plasma) and InMode BodyTite to contour and tighten the chin and neck. A neck lift can be performed at the same time, if you're a good candidate. I suggest seeing a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist to develop a personalized treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Kybella or liposuction I think that you probably have good quality skin for any procedure but Kybella will only produce a minimal effect in your case. I would recommend submental and jawline liposuction and a platysmaplasty to address the fat below the platysma muscle. This will likely give you the best result.
