For these areas, FaceTite can internally tighten the skin in the lower face and neck. After all the skin has been heated and contracted, we shape the neck with liposuction to give definition and remove stubborn pockets of fat. In one quick treatment, we can tighten skin, remove fat, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls with only a weekend of downtime. Keep in mind that combination approaches will give you a more significant improvement as opposed to a single procedure. I recommend getting a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Based upon the 1 posted photo I recommend combination of buccal fat removal with KyBella to peri-oral mounds. Fee in the $8,000 ranges.
Kybella is not FDA improved in these areas and using it inappropriately can cause substantial complications. If used in the jowls it is high risk for creating facial nerve paralysis. The condition may be temporary but it’s fairly impressive when it happens and the jowls should not be treated with this technique.Likewise injecting Kybella deep into the cheek trying to reduce the buccal fat pad is inappropriate compared to surgical removal which is the standard of care.I recommend scheduling in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons to get a better understanding of treatment options.Overall Kybella is inferior to alternative treatments and is not the best option. Most plastic surgeons do not favor this product.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
It is recommended to do not more than 2 vials of kybella in one area at one time. I would not recommend doing more. Severe pain and tissue swelling will double if you inject twice more of recommended volume. It is better to do it slowly and if required to do an extra session for optimal results.
Hi, and thanks for your question. What areas are you concerned with? I would recommend more rounds of Kybella to remove fat if you are unhappy with your appearance. My patients have a very high satisfactory rating when using Kybella in the face, but they tend to need multiple rounds for best...
Dear chchchchcherrybomb, Thank you for sharing your photos. The "on label" use of kybella is limited to the under-chin/double chin area. However, I personally have used kybella off-label for many small fatty deformities which include the jowl/prejowl area that you are showing here. The result...
