Will taking Saw Palmetto pills interfere with taking 88 mcg for my hypothyroidism?

I am currently taking 88 mcg of levothyroxine. However, I am also taking saw palmetto pills (3-4 a day) to help prevent hair loss. I usually don't take a pill until at least 4 hours after my levothyroxine consumption. Would the saw palmetto pills interfere with my absorption of levothyroxine?

I recommend following up with your Doctor about your medications and possible interactions.  I also suggest seeing a hair loss expert to evaluate and go over your condition and provide you information about your best treatment options. What you describe will not have any effect on the absorption of your thyroid replacement medication.
