Will taking Saw Palmetto pills interfere with taking 88 mcg for my hypothyroidism?

I am currently taking 88 mcg of levothyroxine. However, I am also taking saw palmetto pills (3-4 a day) to help prevent hair loss. I usually don't take a pill until at least 4 hours after my levothyroxine consumption. Would the saw palmetto pills interfere with my absorption of levothyroxine?

In my experience Propecia is effective in about 90 % of our patients.Are you taking brand name Propecia or generic(Finasteride)?If generic it might be worthwhile to switch to brand name.Shedding of 200 hairs per day is excessive so I do recommend a full evaluation by a Dermatologist or...

Some people may find that topical minoxidil will not work for them.  But it does not make your hair loss worse.  There are reports that minoxidil can cause initial shedding before it grows new hair.  If you are concerned it is best to see a doctor for a consultation and treatment options.

After a traumatic hair loss, it may take several months for the hair to grow back.  You have to just wait and see.

There is no good way to tell what is going on without an examination and detailed history.  It can be anything from genetic to some unknown cause.
