How to stop Minoxidil gradually?

Hi,iam 20 years old and i have some sheding in my hair in the frontal region so i want to use minoxidil but afraid of stoping it ,so how can i stop minoxidil after taking its total benefit keeping in your knowlage that i have not genetic hair loss?

Some people may find that topical minoxidil will not work for them.  But it does not make your hair loss worse.  There are reports that minoxidil can cause initial shedding before it grows new hair.  If you are concerned it is best to see a doctor for a consultation and treatment options.

After a traumatic hair loss, it may take several months for the hair to grow back.  You have to just wait and see.

I am 18. My hairline dips down in the middle and then becomes much higher at the sides. Is it receding or just naturally curved?

There is no good way to tell what is going on without an examination and detailed history.  It can be anything from genetic to some unknown cause.

It is best to discuss medication issues with the doctor that knows you and has prescribed that medication to you.  In general, you cannot grow the hair back that was lost after stopping Propecia.  This is called "catch up" hair loss.

Traumatic hair loss may or may not grow back.  It may take several months even up to one year to find out.
