Can hernia post-surgery "dent" and belly button be repaired? (Photo)

Question

I had hernia surgery (January 2019) as a result of a c-section (gave birth to twins in September 2018). My belly button was put back in but feels it was tucked in the wrong place. I also have a "dent" above the belly button. My concern is if I went to a surgeon can my belly button be repaired and also if the "dent" can be massaged out or fixed in anyway? I'm uncertain as to what the name of such a procedure would be called.

Thank you for your question and photos.  Yes, a belly button revision can be done to re-shape and contour the belly button.  This can be done by itself or is also typically part of the tummy tuck procedure as well.  Best wishes.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, you might get some benefit from umbilicoplasty. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
