I had a tubal ligation 3 days ago. Is it normal for me not to see the stitches I have in my belly button?

I keep looking to see if I can see the stitches but I don’t see them. After I shower do I have to cover my incision? If so, with what?

Thank you for your picture.  Your Belly Button is slightly of centre however this definitely isn't a botch.  Please do wait for everything to settle and then the Belly Button can be revised.  This could even be performed under a local anaesthetic.  All the Best

Thanks for your question. I agree with my colleague Amir who has also answered this question. See your surgeon again for them a=to examine the area. It might need a small revision to address this area. It may just need a bit longer to settle down.I hope this is of some helpBW

It looks like you may still have an umbilical hernia.  Getting that repaired will help.  The loose skin over top is harder to address.  A tummy tuck may be you best option to excise the problem area.  There are issues that can arise from lack of blood supply to the umbilicus.  Make sure that...
