Is my belly button botched?

Dr, the morning of surgery did his markings, & as in the pic it’s not a straight line. His explanation was I have spondylitis of my spine. Funny how he never mentioned any of that in the 3 pre-op appointments I had with him) I was startled as he continued his markings min away from my surgery. Not sure how a Dr can make a diagnosis as such without an x-ray! Ive never had back issues. Now my belly button is off centered & tiny. Why?? Botched or not?

Thanks for your question. I agree with my colleague Amir who has also answered this question. See your surgeon again for them a=to examine the area. It might need a small revision to address this area. It may just need a bit longer to settle down.I hope this is of some helpBW

It looks like you may still have an umbilical hernia.  Getting that repaired will help.  The loose skin over top is harder to address.  A tummy tuck may be you best option to excise the problem area.  There are issues that can arise from lack of blood supply to the umbilicus.  Make sure that...
