I want to dissolve my filler as quickly as possible to re shape and start fresh. I am unwilling to use Hyaluronidase as the horror stories of it affecting patience own HA is too much to bare. I feel my only option is waiting it out. Should I massage? What can I do to speed this up?
Answer: Alternative to filler dissolving Unfortunately, I am unaware of any way to expedite the dissolution of filler that has been injected into your face. There are certainly potential side effects from the use of hyaluronidase however, if your injector is patient and uses dilute hyaluronidase, the potential for side effects is reduced significantly.

Answer: Dissolving filler without hyaluronidase Thank you for your question. I am not aware of anything else on the market that will dissolve HA fillers. Without hyaluronidase the only option is to wait. All the best!

Answer: Unhappy with Fillers Like Juvederm, Volbella, Restylane -- Use Hyaluronidase, Wait 2 Weeks If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. If you don't want to do the hyaluronidase then you will have to wait 8 months to a year for the filler to lose its affects. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Filler I agree that hyaluronidase is the only recommended treatment to dissolve filler. When done correctly by a board certified facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or dermatologist it is safe. Other experimental treatments like ultrasonic or radiofrequency treatments have their own risks and create structural changes (radiofrequency therapy works by creating subcutaneous burn injury which causes localized inflammation and scar (collagen) tissue for example). The absolute safest method is to patiently wait, but I know that can seem like a long time!
