Do I have enough fat for a BBL at 4'11 and 115 pounds? (Photos)

A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less. If you are too thin, a Brazilian Butt Lift may not be possible.

Dear Fisherdoll167,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. Since you have a small body frame you can obtain very good changes with small amounts of fat transferred. I also recommend you to have a VASER lipo to improve the definition and skin retraction. Thanks for your question. You appear to be a good candidate for a brazilian butt lift. Although you may not achieve the results of your wish pics you'll definitely improve your overall shape. The amount of fat transferred depends on the quantity available and the extent of buttock augmentation each patient desires.  Sufficient body fat for a buttock augmentation is very patient-specific, depending on an individual’s body shape and proportions as well as their expectations.  Buttock augmentation with fat grafting is one of our most popular procedures in Colombia, and from experience we can tell you that some patients do very well with 300 cc of fat per side while others can need 800 cc or more.  That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety.  Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.

Thank you for your question. Although you do not have significant amount of fat, whatever fat is viable can be transferred to your buttock. In my practice, I expect at least 30% of the fat to absorb. I suggest no sitting after a Brazilian Butt Lift for at least 3 weeks. This is a very important part of the recovery stage and can greatly impact your result. The pressure from sitting can compromise the blood flow to the area and reduce the "take" of the fat cells. I advise seeking a consultation with a board certified Plastic Surgeon for further individualized information.

Patients interested in BBL often ask questions of the necessary volume for transfer. Ultimately, the answer is two pronged and based upon both patient expectations and the nature of fat graft themselves.
BBL and fat transfer is ultimately dependent upon the long term viability of the fat grafted. That being said the resorption rates of fat transferred can be significant. Clinically this translates to a progressive loss of grafted volume in the months following the procedure.
I tell patients that they can expect resorption or graft loss on the order of 50% (at most; prepare for the worst and hope for significantly better). Additionally some harvest volume is lost in processing the fat graft prior to transfer. Thus I generally recommend that patients seeking even the most minimal volume increase have adequate reserves for grafting of 500 cc per cheek (at minimum).  This means that harvest will usually exceed 1 liter (assuming for processing loss).
However, it important to remember that these are recommendations and can be amended based upon a patient's particular expectations. Some patients only want a subtle change and may be willing to accept a less significant result. But the rule still applies you have to have the fat to transfer the fat.Based on your photos/goals, you may not have adequate reserves for a dramatic result. However, you may still be a candidate if you are willing to consider slightly lowered expectations.

Based on your pictures, you are a good candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results.
Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back, hips and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a beautiful heart shape.
In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less.
